Welcome to the historic center of Artena, the largest pedestrian historical center in Europe!Here you can find our charming properties and our unique La Bottega,both immersed in the beauty of the historical centre.

Everything is within a walking distance. In just a few minutes, you can reach two bars,, two grocery stores, , a pub carved into the rock and a textile artisan's shop (Find out more here).You can also visit the workshop of a painter who creates works of art with wine, a unique experience!

If you feel like discovering spirituality and art, you will find two historical churches to visit. And when it's time to delight your palate, you'll be spoiled for choice between two cozy restaurants where you can enjoy delicious local dishes.

But most remarkable of all are the breathtaking views that await you here. Artena is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and you will be able to enjoy spectacular views from every angle of the historic center.

FIND OUT HOW EASY IT IS TO HAVE FUN

If you are looking for things to do or just some fun, just a ten minutes’ walk (or a two minutes’ drive) in the lower part of Artena will lead you to a wide range of bars, bakeries, pastry shops, grocery stores and restaurants. You can also enjoy a delicious meals in some of the restaurants for just €10 per person, drinks included!

For the best shopping, visit the Valmontone Outleta Shopping Malll with over 180 branded stores offering discounts of 30% to 70% all year round.

If you are looking for adventures and fun, with just a ten minutes’ drive you can MagicLand, the largest amusement park in Central-Southern Italy, with attractions for all ages. MagicSplash, water park, offers slides, pools and fun for the whole family on an area of approximately 40,000 sq.mt.

For lovers of nature and walking, we recommend visiting the archaeological site of Piana della Civita, which offers a spectacular view of Lazio and the possibility to explore the natural beauty and historical heritage of the area.

Getting around -

USEFUL TIPS

If you feel like driving, we suggest you to come by car in order to fully enjoy the services and attractions available in the surroundings of the historic centre. However, if the car is not an option, you can use the COTRAL bus service that connects Artena to ROME Anagnina, the terminus of Rome's Metro A, in about an hour. Alternatively, you can take the shuttle to the Valmontone train station, which will allow you to reach ROMA TERMINI, in the heart of Rome, in just 45 minutes.
